By Mike and Judi Magel – Troy, Ohio

Note: Judi partners with a woman who makes little angel charms for Judi then to give out to people she encounters. These charms and pins have been shared in cruises, shopping centers, restaurants, teen camps, and everywhere in between!

Recently, when I, Judi, was carrying various items to the car, my hands were so full that I put my box of angels on top of the car. I forgot it was there and drove off!

As I pulled out to the busy intersection, I didn’t realize that the box had slid off the car onto the pavement.

A woman named Barbara driving toward me on the opposite side saw the box slide off. When the person behind me didn’t stop, she crossed over to my side of the street and picked up my angelic package.

Praise the Lord! Barbara found that the rubber band holding it closed held it all still intact.

The box also contained our business card and angel Scripture cards, which quote Psalm 91:11.

“For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” Psalms 91:11-12 NIV

The Scripture card inspired Barbara to call her sister, Belinda. Belinda’s daughter was having surgery on her throat the next day at Children’s Hospital in Ohio.

God’s Little Details

The significance of Psalm 91:11 is that Belinda has that Scripture engraved on her driveway! Belinda’s daughter is a miracle child, who was born at only 11 ounces five years previously.

The family called us that evening to pray with them for surgery the next day and the safe travel from Florida to Ohio.

Health and Wholeness

The surgery was successful! The trach is still in place, but blocked off so Belinda’s daughter can breathe freely.

She is breathing on her own, and the next surgery will be at St. Petersburg Children’s Hospital in Florida to completely remove the trach.

Barbara met us the next day to give back the box of angels. We were able to pray with her for her health, too, as she also just had surgery.

What started as Judi forgetting a box turned into a way for God to minister peace and healing – He definitely makes the most of our mishaps!
