At www.cffm.org/ – Christian Family Fellowship explains an introduction into their beliefs and emphasis on “Love”. We say it this way:
Galatians 5:22, “But the fruit of the Spirit is…faithfulness…” Part of the work of the Holy Spirit in our life is supplying us the power to be faithful. This faithfulness is a fruit of the Spirit. Many assume that faithfulness is produced by our own human effort and trying hard enough. The Scripture tells us that faithfulness (at least in one respect) is a result of the work of the Spirit of God. This should bring us great comfort that we are not left on our own. The need to remain faithful does not completely rest on our shoulders and our limitations.
The power for faithfulness comes from the Holy Spirit, and we thank God for that. Where have we felt burdened? Where and in what ways have we seemed to be overwhelmed or maybe even defeated? God has the power to keep and sustain us so that we endure all things. He has the power and the ability to give us joy in the middle of all of these things and to lift us up out of our distress. God is faithful. Just like we can display the characteristics of God in love, peace, and goodness, we certainly can be faithful as a result of the Spirit.
