At www.cffm.org/ – Christian Family Fellowship explains an introduction into their beliefs and emphasis on the church. We say it this way:

The Early Church

Acts 2:42-43, “They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles.” In the early church the people of God kept feeling a sense of awe. God was moving powerfully among the followers of Jesus Christ as they met in homes and in public (Acts 2:46 and 20:20). “Many” signs and wonders were being done. The tank was not empty when it came to the power of God available for healing and deliverance among those who were seeking to be made free.

As they were gathering together, there were times of extreme freedom to operate in the communities where they lived. When in Solomon’s porch, no one dared to interrupt what was taking place among the people. Acts 5:12-13, “At the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were taking place among the people; and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s portico. But none of the rest dared to associate with them; however, the people held them in high esteem.” Throughout the record of the book of Acts we can identify key markers of how the church was conducted and the results that they witnessed. It is not just a historical document but a roadmap for us to follow today. These are instructions laid out by the Holy Spirit and the life of the early apostles.
