At www.cffm.org/ – Christian Family Fellowship explains an introduction into their beliefs and emphasis on “Love”. We say it this way:
More on Family
The family unit is how God chose to reveal His relationship to the Messiah and to the Church. God calls Himself the Father. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. This idea of family is so close to the heart of God that it is how the Father’s relationship to Jesus Christ is primarily described. If you are a father, how closely do you identify yourself with this role in life? Do you think of yourself as a father? Does your son or daughter know the importance of belonging to a father and mother who care about them? We can teach our children and spouses the importance of who they are by our actions. We can start to increase our love towards our immediate family just as we can increase in our love for those around us outside of our family.
1 Thessalonians 4:9-10, “Now as to the love of the brethren, you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another; for indeed you do practice it toward all the brethren who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brethren, to excel still more.”
God teaches us to love one another. In this we are to excel still more towards all our brothers and sisters in Christ. We can also bring this love to a higher level among our spouses and children, showing them their importance by our actions.
