At www.cffm.org/ – Christian Family Fellowship explains an introduction into their beliefs and emphasis on “Love”. We say it this way:
Love
Love within the body of Christ is how Jesus said the world will know that we are His disciples. Do we want to be known as the disciples of Jesus? In Christian Family Fellowship, we like to talk about “Jesus to the World”. One way that we do this is by loving one another. This may sound simple, but the implications are direct and profound. Can we love each other well? John 13:35, “By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
What does it mean to love one another in this way? The love of Christ is a selfless kind of love (Philippians 2:2-6). We can learn more about how the Holy Spirit talks about this love of God by reading the popular section of characteristics in 1 Corinthians 13. One of these characteristics is kindness. Another trait of love is that it does not seek its own. Our selfless attitude of caring for each other as the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ is evidence to the world that we are His disciples.
