CFF Peace

At www.cffm.org/ – Christian Family Fellowship explains an introduction into their beliefs and emphasis on “Love”. We say it this way:

Peace

The very foundation of peace is Jesus Himself. He is the prince of peace (Isaiah 9:6). He is our peace (Ephesians 2:14). It is from Jesus Christ that peace with God flows to meet us where we are at in life and brings us into right relationship with the Heavenly Father. Romans 5:1-2, “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.” 

We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. This peace comes from an act of justification that happens by faith. When God declares justification over our lives, we now have peace with Him, from Him, through Jesus Christ the righteous one. From the position of peace, we can now approach God our Father in a way that was not previously accessible. We praise God for this! This peace with God is the source and the basis of all of our personal peace that we have in Christ Jesus as a fruit of the Spirit.
