At www.cffm.org/ – Christian Family Fellowship explains an introduction into their beliefs and emphasis on “Family”. We say it this way:

Family

The word for “family” has a spiritual connotation as the “family of God” but this does not mean that our family on earth is not important to God. Where family has been separated or “broken”, God desires reconciliation. In Christian Family Fellowship, we have experience and work with individuals and families to see this restoration come into its full blessing. It does take work. It takes communication, patience, and self-control to work through a family rift, especially if it is major or has existed over time. God is all for restoration and through prayer and wisdom families can be reconciled.

2 Corinthians 5:19, “That is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.” Here we find a key to reconciliation. God did not count our mistakes against us to produce reconciliation. Many times we want to hold someone accountable and demand justice before we are willing to reconcile. God says that he did not hold in mind our mistakes, but He also entrusted us afterward. These two elements are key for reconciliation. If you are willing to take these two steps, reconciliation is possible. We believe that healing is possible, emotionally and physically, because God cares for your whole being.
