Spring has arrived and Jesus is alive!

Our thankfulness overflows for all that our Father has promised and Jesus has accomplished.

Resurrection Sunday this year was a reminder of all that Christ suffered, so that we can live free from discontent and offense regardless of any problem, obstacle, or trial that we are going through.

Key words…going through!

I practically say to myself when faced with a trial, “God is doing something with this.”

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28 KJV

God did many works and good through Paul, yet Paul had a boatload full of problems.

“I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:12-13 KJV

“And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; that ye may approve things that are excellent, that ye may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ.” Philippians 1:9-10 KJV

It has helped me to remember that His goodness is before me, behind me, and just around the corner, if I am looking.

“So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall! No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out, so that you can endure it.” 1 Corinthians 10:12-13 NIV

The trials and tribulations we go through equip us to help other people. Sometimes, it is a moment by moment walk as we lead every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh…casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 KJV

 Growing through Events

We endeavor to teach these principles of practicality to our young people at camp, as well as confront the wrong teaching they are facing from the world today that is in direct rebellion against the Word of God.

Our YES! Youth Excelling Spiritually camp focus this year will be “Joy!” The registrations are arriving from near and far.

Over half of the young people aged 12-35 are able to attend because of your generous giving towards scholarships. If you would like to support any part of camp, please note that in the memo when you give.

We are currently deep in planning for the June 9-11 conference, “ENGAGE: Let His Voice Be Heard.” This will be a full house, so get your registration in soon and hotel reservations made!

Come expecting to be encouraged by the Holy Spirit, filled to the overflow with praise and thanksgiving and exiting with testimonies of miracles and answers from the Lord.

We love to receive your letters that testify to our Father’s miraculous miracles and Jesus’s faithful oversight in building His church. We count it our honor to pray for specific situations you are ‘going through, while God is doing something!”

Be encouraged by what Jesus said to his disciples right before the crucifixion:

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 ESV

Remember, you are loved and you belong.
